In this paper, we present the design and optimisation of a centrifugal fan with requirements of maximizing the pressure rise and efficiency at two operating points and the maximum torque provided by the motor power using 3D inverse design method, DOE (Design of Experiment), RSM (Response Surface Model) and MOGA (Multi-objective Genetic Algorithm).
The pressure rise and efficiencies at two operating points are improved significantly and the improvement is validated using steady-state CFD simulations.
